We’re looking for a Community Lead Global Strategic & Market Intelligence (f/m/x) to drive the development of our strategic & market intelligence capabilities and guide a high-performing team at the heart of energy tradingBESS optimization. In this high-impact role, you’ll report directly to the CEO, and you’ll shape how we monitor enter and monitor global markets, assess risk of new use cases, and share knowledge. Redefine "automationdisruption" in energy  flexibility markets

As a leader of our handpicked team of experts, you:   

  • Analyse innovative use cases to further strengthen our portfolio in line with our long-term vision.

  • Enable strategic go-to-market decisions by providing detailed potential analyses and revenue estimations with the accuracy required for investment discussions as a foundation for our global expansion. 

  • Develop and maintain high-quality blueprints to guide go-to-market and product decisions, in alignment collaboration with defined processes and in close collaboration with GMIother teams. 

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate market and asset behavior and effectively communicate insights across the organization and to to relevant partnersexternal stakeholders. 

  • Leverage new technologies to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the overall value delivery of GSMI team.. 

  • Design and maintain scalable structures for transferring market knowledge within the organization and to external partners, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and improved.  

  • Provide regular quantitative market updates to both internal teams and external stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted voice on market developments.  

  • Build and continuously refine knowledge-sharing frameworks that boost transparency and enhance decision-making across the company and client engagements.  

Job requirements

How you fit into the team    

You want to actively participate in the transition to clean energy and check the following boxes: 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience  

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position  

  • Proven experience in strategic & market intelligence, data analysis, or energy trading, with a strong understanding of European energy markets and market signals, preferably in a consulting environment 

  • Energy industry experience  

  • Leadership experience, ideally in a cross-functional or interdisciplinary setting, with a keen sense for guiding a team, fostering collaboration, and supporting individual growth 

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations and forecasts  

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong command of tailoring our message to different audiences, from internal stakeholders to customers and prospects 

  • A proactive and structured mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and a high standard of accuracy and transparency 

  • Fluency in English 

 

Having the following skills is a big plus: 

  • Experience with market entries and financial planning 

  • Experience with marketing of Renewables (PPA, Direct Marketing)

  • A background in consulting
